D. Labman

D. Labman writes dark fantasy and epic fantasy featuring strange worlds, dangerous powers, and long-form mysteries.

His debut novel, The First Layer, opens the False Sky series, a story that begins with an imperial gate expedition and gradually expands toward conflicts far beyond its original setting.

Drawing inspiration from ambitious speculative fiction across novels, animation, and film, his work combines expansive worldbuilding with personal consequences and the gradual discovery of unfamiliar worlds.
